INTERNATIONAL: Capped five times for the Bulgarian national team. Appeared in matches versus Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Sweden during Europe’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying schedule.
OUTSIDE MLS: Began his professional career at the age of 18 with Chavdar Etropole in the Bulgarian second division (2011-12). That same season, he was transferred to Bulgarian first-division side Svetkavitsa 1922. He has appeared in 129 first division matches since, including stints with Lovech and his most recent club, CSKA Sofia.
