D.C. United fans might want to keep an eye on Wednesday’s CONCACAF Champions League game pitting Costa Rican power Deportivo Saprissa against Mexico’s Club América.

According to a report from Costa Rican outlet Teletica, Saprissa is preparing to sell left back Joseph Mora after their Round of 16 second-leg matchup at Estadio Azteca, with D.C. United reportedly the most likely destination.

A 25-year-old left back, Mora has been a regular starter for Saprissa over the past two years, and he also has experience for Costa Rica’s youth national teams.

If D.C. United can land him, Mora would be reunited with former teammate Ulises Segura, who was transferred from Saprissa to D.C. in December. Several other players have also made the jump from Saprissa to MLS, including Francisco Calvo, David Guzman and Adolfo Machado.

Depending on when he’s signed, Mora may have a chance to compete for a starting spot when D.C. open the 2018 season Saturday vs. Orlando City SC (7:30 pm ET, MLS LIVE).
