Orlando City have offered Lens center back Dusan Cvetinovic a contract, according to a French report.

TopMercato.com reported this week that Orlando have offered the 29-year-old Serb a long-term contract. The site added that he’s also received interest from Greek club AEK Athens.

Cvetinovic has been with Lens since 2015, when he was loaned to the French Ligue 2 club by Norwegian side Haugesund. He moved permanently to Lens ahead of the 2016-17 season and has been a regular with the team ever since, starting 29 Ligue 2 matches last campaign and starting 15 games this season.

Prior to moving to Norway in 2013, Cvetinovic spent four years between the Swiss first and second divisions. He turned pro in 2006 in his native Serbia.

Orlando struggled in the back last year and are relatively light on center backs after trading of Tommy Redding to the New York Red Bulls as part of the Sacha Kljestan deal. Jonathan Spector and Jose Aja are the only natural center backs currently under contract with Orlando.
