HOW ACQUIRED: Redding was signed as the club’s first MLS Homegrown player in March 2014 at the age of 17.
A quick and athletic defender, who was courted by clubs in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and England, Redding has the ability to play multiple positions on the back line and will be looking to assert himself with regular minutes in 2016. In his first MLS season in 2015, Redding saw limited action with Orlando, making two league appearances, starting one. On Aug. 8, 2015 he became the youngest player to feature in a MLS match for the Lions vs. Philadelphia Union

INTERNATIONAL: The 6-foot-1 center-back is a current member of the USA Under-20 national team and starred for the U-18s. Played in residency with the U-17 national team.
OUTSIDE MLS: Signed on straight out of high school and started multiple games during Orlando City's final season in USL (2014) and played on loan in USL with the Wilmington Hammerheads in 2015. Played club ball for FC America in Florida and for US Soccer Development Academy side Chicago Magic-PSG before joining Orlando City in March 2014 and trained with Portuguese giants Benfica before the start of preseason in 2015.
