Macnelly Torres could be on his way to MLS, according to Chilean outlet Dale Ablo.
According to Dale Albo, Torres, who currently plays for Colombia’s Atletico Nacional, is receiving interest from Chilean club Colo-Colo and has offers from Brazil and MLS.
It was reported last summer that FC Dallas were interested in the 33-year-old attacking midfielder. NYCFC were rumored to be interested in him in October, with a Colombian outlet reporting that the team made an offer for Torres.
Torres has spent the bulk of his career in his native Colombia, but played for Colo-Colo from 2008-2010. He’s been with Atletico Nacional since May 2015, recording six goals in 41 appearances across all competitions in 2017 and helping the club to the 2015 Clausura, 2017 Apertura and 2016 Copa Libertadores titles. He has three goals in 39 career appearances with the Colombian national team, with eight of his caps coming in the country’s successful qualifying campaign for the 2018 World Cup.
