When Bob Bradley was named on Monday as the new manager of Swansea City, the first American to lead a club in the Premier League, social media lit up with all sorts of emotions and reactions.
Among all the surprise, speculation and concern, Bradley didn't lack for congratulations,
His first MLS side, former players with clubs and country -- even his successor with the US national team -- took to Twitter to wish the best for former US, Chicago Fire, MetroStars (now New York Red Bulls) and Chivas USA boss -- who also led Egypt's national team and club teams in Norway and France before taking the Swans job.
Here's a sampling, starting with the club Bradley led to an MLS Cup/Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup double in their 1998 expansion season, and to another Open Cup title in 2000.
Best of luck in the @premierleague to Bob Bradley, first manager of #cf97 & now a trailblazer with @SwansOfficial https://t.co/hPZ5UytIjD pic.twitter.com/IzgCS9aKwj
