A quartet of current and former LA Galaxy players are set to star in a new dog soccer film called “K9 World Cup.”
Galaxy players AJ DeLaGarza and Alan Gordon and former LA defenders Dan Gargan and Todd Dunivant all lent their voices to the upcoming animated film, billed as “the triumphant story of a group of rag tag canine soccer players who are assembled by a legendary retired coach to bring honor and fame back to the Mexicanine Soccer League.”
Starring Sean Astin of “Rudy” and “Lord of the Rings” trilogy fame, "K9 World Cup" was released in theaters in Mexico and will premiere in May in the US on DirecTV, InDemand, Dish, Amazon, Vudu, Google Play and Hoopla, iTunes and on Sony Playstation.
