So you could understand why the Colorado Rapids' Irish internationals, Kevin Doyle and Sean St. Ledger, thought they might give broadcasting a try in the offseason.

Their unofficial commentary debut, however, did not begin smoothly, with the duo identifying Rapids mascot Edson the Eagle as either a parrot (Doyle) or a pigeon (St. Ledger). Take a look:
