Montreal Impact midfielder Marco Donadel's laser runs away with AT&T Goal of the Week honors

Marco Donadel hasn't had the smoothest of arrivals in MLS, but fans will forget about all that after last weekend.


The Italian struck maybe the goal of the season last Saturday against Columbus Crew SC, launching a rocket from 30 yards out that found the top right corner of the net.


The Impact midfielder soundly beat other competitiors for this week's AT&T Goal of the Week, capturing 64.65 percent of the vote. The only other player to garner more than 10 percent of the vote was Toronto FC's Sebastian Giovinco, who took home 13.74 percent.


It was the second time this season a Montreal Impact player won Goal of the Week after Jack McInerney won back in Week 4.
