There were plenty of firsts Sunday at Yankees Stadium in New York City FC’s home debut against the New England Revolution.


David Villa’s first goal in front of his new home crowd was pure class. And, of course, getting the franchise’s first MLS win didn’t disappoint the 43,507 in attendance, all creating a scintillating atmosphere for the expansion club.
