Reminder: The transfers deadline locks 6:45 pm ET on Wednesday, so be sure to make all your moves before then. As usual, you'll be able to substitute players up until their scheduled game time.
In Round 7 of MLS Fantasy Manager, we saw the high score jump back above the 100-point mark (103) and the average increase to 47 points.
The Philadelphia Union had two games to capitalize on points, yet only four of their players tallied nine points or more: Zac MacMath, Amobi Okugo, Raymon Gaddis and Maurice Edu.

DGW Advice
For the second week in a row, fantasy owners will be able to benefit from teams playing multiple games within the same round. This week, it's Houston and New York who will benefit.
For those who invested in Kofi Sarkodie prior to his red card against Philadelphia on Saturday, be aware that the Houston right back will be available to play in at least one of the games in Round 8. Is it worth it to take a minus-four-point hit to bring in another defender? Maybe. Better choose wisely though.
As I mentioned last week, DGWs are critical to success in MLS Fantasy. In Round 9 there is no DGW, but from Rounds 10-14, there are 21 opportunities to capitalize on this feature.

Top Transfers (OUT)
It's starting to seem like a growing trend at this point. As seen with the top four transfers out this week, instead of using your two free transfers on players you'd like to swap out, you have to use them on players who are either injured, suspended or on a bye.
With DGWs starting to occur more and more each round, who you transfer in and out will involve much more strategy.
