It is officially Friday, which means two things. One, this crazy MLS All-Star week has finally come to an end. And, perhaps more importantly, two, it's MLS Insider night on the NBC Sports Network and TSN (7:30 pm ET and 2 pm ET, respectively).
And tonight's episode looks set to be the most heartwarming, potentially tear-jerking one yet.
First up, we've got the incredible story of a little boy named Atticus and his special day out at Jeld-Wen Field this past May. Not to spoil tonight's feature, but Atticus is an eight-year old boy with cancer, and his dream was to take on his beloved Portland Timbers on the field of play. So the Timbers, of course, made that wish come true for Atticus in front of 3,000 Timbers Army members.
Also featured tonight will be the New England Revolution's unique approach to the MLS academy system, with a great deal about the Revs' star 18-year-old forward Diego Fagundez.
