Save of the Week: Portland Timbers' Donovan Ricketts claims honors for seventh time this season

Donovan Ricketts

After a dry spell that lasted four weeks, Donovan Ricketts has once again won the Save of the Week award.

The Jamaican international claimed the honors in Week 21 for his soaring denial of Conor Casey in the second half of the Portland Timbers' scoreless draw with the Philadelphia Union at PPL Park last Saturday. The accolade is Ricketts' first since Week 16 and season-best seventh.

Ricketts' latest highlight-worthy save claimed more than 39 percent of the vote, which was good enough to see off Vancouver Whitecaps defender Brad Rusin's goal-line clearance.
