Save of the Week

Double goal-line stop by Houston defender Kofi Sarkodie takes Save of the Week award for Week 11

Kofi Sarkodie, Houston Dynamo

Usually it's the guys wearing gloves that have the inside track on the Save of the Week award. Not in Week 11.

Houston Dynamo defender Kofi Sarkodie won the honor by a landslide for his desperate double stop on the goal line, foiling D.C. United's Dwayne De Rosario twice.

But second place also went to a field player. Midfielder Paulo Nagamura had a goal-line stop of his own to earn 18.25 percent of the ballots.
