American Exports: Bradley's Chievo drop down to 14th

AMSTERDAM — Michael Bradley and Chievo took part in some unpleasant Monday night football, dropping their first Serie A road game in more than a month with a 2-0 loss at Napoli.

The US midfielder departed with a quarter-hour remaining after a hot-and-cold shift in central midfield. The Flying Donkeys had trouble containing the second-best offense in Italy, with first half goals from the Uruguayan duo of Miguel Britos and Edison Cavani providing the comfy win.

With the four teams behind them when the round started all winning this weekend, Chievo slipped four spots to 14th. The Verona side has now won just once in its last five league contests.
