FC DALLAS LOOKS TO EXTEND HOME WINNING STREAK TO FIVE GAMES: FC Dallas has began the 2005 MLS season with a 4-0-0 record at home after their 1-0 victory over Los Angeles on Saturday night. The four-game home winning streak to begin this season ties with the 1996 Dallas team, who won four straight home matches at the beginning of the inaugural MLS season (two wins were shootout victories). As they head into their next home match on Wednesday versus Chivas USA, FC Dallas will look to join six other MLS teams in the league's history who were victorious in their first five matches at home (1996 Los Angeles, 2000 Kansas City, 2000 Tampa Bay, 2001 Miami, 2002 San Jose, 2005 Los Angeles).

ALL-STAR VOTING: The 2005 Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game will be held on July 30 at Crew Stadium in Columbus (2 p.m. CST, ABC) as the MLS All-Stars will take on English Premier League club Fulham FC. The online fan balloting will comprise 25 percent of the total vote, with coaches and general managers (25 percent), players (25 percent), and media (25 percent) combining for the remaining 75 percent. As of Friday, June 17, Eddie Johnson and Carlos Ruiz ranked first and second, respectively, in the forward category from the fan All-Star voting. Ronnie O'Brien was fifth among midfielders and Greg Vanney and Scott Garlick were fourth among defenders and goalkeepers, respectively.
