Zach Mathers

Mathers is a central midfielder that spent much of the past two seasons with Sounders 2. He should be a depth piece for the Sounders first team in 2018.

OUTSIDE MLS: In his first professional season, Mathers recorded three goals and four assists in 19 appearances for S2. A constant menace for opposing defenses as an attacking midfielder, Mathers earned short-term agreements with the First Team and made three Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup appearances.

COLLEGE: Was a three-time All-ACC selection at Duke.
