Raúl Albiol

Raúl Albiol is a veteran centerback who spent most of his career in Spain with Valencia and Real Madrid before moving to Napoli in 2013. He was a squad player for Spain's wins in the 2008 and 2012 European Championships and the 2010 World Cup.

SPANISH NATIONAL TEAM

Albiol has registered over 40 caps with the Spanish national team but only two have come in Spain's last three major tournaments.

CLUB CAREER

A product of Valencia's youth academy, Albiol went on to make more than 130 appearances with the club over four seasons. After moving to Real Madrid he found playing time a little harder to come by and eventually had to leave the club to see consistent minutes.
