2025: MLS NEXT Pro: Started in 10 of 12 matches played ... logged 830 minutes...scored three goals...scored first career MLS NEXT Pro goal in a 3-2 win over Chicago Fire FC II...made first career MLS NEXT Pro start in a 1-0 win over Atlanta United 2.

2024: MLS NEXT Pro: Tallied five appearances...logged 47 minutes played...made MLS NEXT Pro debut on June 14, 2024 against New England Revolution II.

ACADEMY EXPERIENCE:

Dos Santos began his time in New York as a nine-year-old in 2017, playing for the Red Bulls Pre-Academy team. He later graduated into the U-12 Academy group and has risen through the age groups since then, most notably being a member of the 2023 U-15 MLS NEXT Cup championship winning team.

The defender received his first call up to the U-17 United States National Team, when he was called into camp in Spain for three friendly matches on June 2. He appeared in all three matches and logged 119 minutes played.

ACQUIRED:

New York Red Bulls II signed defender Matthew Dos Santos to a two-year MLS NEXT Pro contract though the 2026 season on March 12, 2025. Dos Santos will join the first team on an MLS contract as a homegrown starting in 2027 through the 2029 MLS season with an option in 2030.
