Mark O'Neill

A young defender with a presence at the back, O'Neill originally joined Whitecaps FC as part of the club's MLS NEXT Pro team, Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2), in January 2025 after playing five seasons at the University of Creighton.

In September 2025, O'Neill became the ninth WFC2 MLS NEXT Pro player to be signed to a first team contract, agreeing to an MLS contract through 2025, with club options for 2026 and 2027.
