The 18-year-old American goalkeeper was added to Minnesota United’s First Team after signing a two-year Homegrown contract through the 2027 MLS season, with club options for 2028 and 2029. Rizvanovich joins the First Team after competing with MNUFC2, the club’s MLS NEXT Pro side, and will occupy an Off-Roster Homegrown spot.
Rizvanovich spent the 2025 season with MNUFC2, where he established himself as a reliable presence in goal. Across all competitions (regular season and playoffs), the young goalkeeper made 17 starts, recorded 52 saves, allowed just 20 goals, and earned nine wins in net. His performances reflected continued growth.
Rizvanovich joined Minnesota United’s development pathway at the start of 2025, briefly featuring with the MNUFC Academy U18 side before moving up to MNUFC2. Prior to joining the Loons’ system, he developed within both FC Cincinnati Academy and Chicago FC United Academy, gaining valuable experience in top domestic youth environments.
INTERNATIONAL: Internationally, Rizvanovich has earned four call-ups between the United States Men’s Youth National Team U18 and U19 squads. He made his first international appearance in September 2024, starting and playing all 90 minutes in a 2–0 shutout victory against Peru’s U17 side at an International Youth Football Tournament. In June 2025, Rizvanovich was part of the U.S. U18 team that won the UEFA Friendship Cup in Switzerland, where he notably made key penalty-kick saves to help secure the championship.
