MLS CAREER: Signed MLS contract with New England Revolution on March 22, 2021 after featuring for Revolution II in the team’s inaugural 2020 campaign…Through October 2021, has made 10 MLS appearances, including eight starts, with one goal and two assists in debut MLS campaign…Spent 2021 preseason in training with the MLS squad before earning a contract…Drafted in the second round, 38th overall, of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft by the San Jose Earthquakes…Spent the 2020 MLS Preseason in Cancun, Mexico with San Jose…MLS rights were acquired by the Revolution in a trade with San Jose on Dec. 13, 2020.
2021: Has made 10 appearances, including eight starts, with one goal and two assists in first MLS season…Became first Revolution II player to appear in senior team’s matchday squad, and the second to appear in an MLS game…Signed to MLS contract on March 22…Has also started twice for Revolution II in USL League One…(4/17) at CHI: Became first Revolution II graduate to appear on MLS gameday roster…(5/12) at PHI: Made first MLS start, becoming second Revs II alum to register a start for the Revolution…Played 90 minutes in central defense in 1-1 draw…(5/16) vs. CLB: Recorded second straight start and helped anchor backline to clean sheet in the 1-0 win…(5/22) vs. NY: Made third consecutive start in the 3-1 win…(5/29) at CIN: Made first career substitute appearance and helped see out 1-0 away win…(6/19) at NYC: Scored first career MLS goal…Became the first Revolution II alum to score in MLS…(7/21) at MIA: Logged first MLS assist and played 90 minutes in 5-0 away win…(9/22) at CHI: Returned to action from after missing two months with a leg injury, collecting one assist over a full 90-minute shift in 3-2 road win.
CLUB CAREER OUTSIDE MLS: Signed by New England Revolution II to the team’s inaugural USL League One roster on July 14, 2020 and started 15 games during the club’s inaugural season…Added two starts with Revs II in 2021…Spent 2020 preseason with San Jose Earthquakes before joining Revolution II…Played the 2019 NPSL season with FC Baltimore Christos, helping guide the team to a Mid-Atlantic Conference Championship…Scored the game-winning goal in extra time of the Conference Championship match.
2021 (Revolution II): Made two starts with the second team as he rehabbed a hamstring injury…Totaled 104 minutes played.
2020 (Revolution II): Started and played 90 minutes in 15 of Revolution II’s 16 games...(7/25) vs. OMA: Made professional debut in season opener, receiving a yellow card...(8/7) vs. ORL: Recorded a team-high three clearances and eight possessions gained...(8/15 at NTX): Notched first career shot on goal and received a yellow card...(8/26 vs. GVL): Tallied five interceptions...(8/29) at CHA: Recorded a team-high two tackles, four clearances, and 87 touches…(9/26) at ORL: Played 90 minutes with two interceptions and two possessions gained.
COLLEGE (UMBC): Finished collegiate career at University of Maryland, Baltimore County with 56 games played over four seasons…Made 53 starts with one goal and eight assists…Named to the MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List at the start of the 2019 season…As a senior in 2019, scored first and only career goal on Senior Night in a season-finale win over Stony Brook on Nov. 6, 2019…Played in 12 games, starting 11, as a junior after sustaining a preseason injury…Recorded an assist on Oct. 6, 2018 in a 3-1 win against UMass-Lowell…Set career highs by starting and playing in all 16 games as a sophomore in 2017…Recorded assists in victories over West Virginia (09/13/17) and Albany (10/14/17)…Totaled a career-high 11 shots in 2017…Appeared in 15 games during his freshman season in 2016, starting 14 times and recording a career-high three assists…Set up a late equalizer in a 2-1 win over George Washington on Sep. 17, 2016…Added assists in victories over Monmouth (09/10/16) and La Salle (09/24/16).
NATIONAL TEAM (UNITED STATES): Received an invitation to the United States U-20 National Team camp in January 2016 in preparation for FIFA Under-20 World Cup Qualifying.
PERSONAL: Born in Rockville, Md. …Involved with Black Players for Change and a committee member for the Revolution’s Players Collaborative Fund…One of three brothers…Former member of the D.C. United Academy, where he helped his U-19 team beat the New York Red Bulls U-19 in his final spring season during 2016…Participated in the 2016 Florida College Showcase, helping his team go undefeated…Graduated from Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, Md. in 2016.
