Joel Campbell is one of the most promising players Costa Rican players has ever produced. Ticos fans are desperate to see the young winger played more at Arsenal, and he shows his class each time he's given a chance. 

COSTA RICAN NATIONAL TEAM

First appearing for Costa Rica back in 2011, Campbell has become a stalwart in Jorge Luis Pinto’s side. Campbell has over 65 caps for Los Ticos despite his young age. 

CLUB CAREER

Rising quickly through the youth ranks of Costa Rican side Saprissa, Campbell made his first club appearance for their senior team in 2009. Two years later, in 2011 Campbell was transferred to Arsenal, but has yet to make an appearance for the Gunners, who have instead loaned him out to Lorient (France), Real Betis (Spain), and Olympiakos (Greece).
