2013-2017: Gomez shuffled between several teams after leaving Philadelphia and currently plays as a midfielder for Atlético Bucaramanga in Colombia.

2011: Signed with Philadelphia Union on December 21 … Previously played with the Mexican club Indios Ciudad Juárez, where he scored three goals in eight appearances… Before transferring to Indios, Gomez played for the Colombian club La Equidad, tallying one goal in 14 appearances… Gomez also spent just over a half of a year in Cyprus with Ernis Aradippou FC.

2007-2010: Transferred from Independiente Santa Fe to CF Belenenses Lissabon of Portugal’s Primeira Liga where he played for three years, registering 71 appearances and three goals... Made his debut on August 20, in a 1-1 draw at Associação Naval 1º de Maio… Gomez and Philadelphia Union’s Freddy Adu crossed paths briefly in 2009 when Adu was loaned to the Portuguese club.

2004-2007: For four season Gomez moved between Panama and Colombia frequently, playing for two different clubs in Panama (San Francisco FC 2004, and Tauro FC 2004-2005) and three in Colombia (Deportivo Pasto 2004, Deportivo Pereira 2005-2007, and Independiente Santa Fe 2007), totaling six goals in 84 appearances.

2001-2003: Began his career with Enviago and appeared in 15 league matches in his first year, registering 1 goal…

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Debuted for Panama in 2003 against El Salvador … Has appeared in 74 games for Panama, registering 8 goals … Scored a penalty kick in a 2-1 win against the United States in the 2011 Gold Cup, giving the US their first ever defeat in the group stages at the Gold Cup.
