The last of the Revs’ four 2013 Supplemental Draft selections, Latigue earned a contract after a strong preseason showing … officially signed on March 1, 2013 … overall, was the 99th player college-age drafted between the SuperDraft and Supplemental Draft this year … a quick player who has bursts of speed to get around defenders on the wing … also has experience on set pieces … a good crosser of the ball in traffic … an outside midfielder who is most comfortable on the right side, he also spent time at right back in preseason training … Twitter: @GabeLatigue

COLLEGE: Played collegiately for Elon University … in 82 career appearances, scored 15 goals and added 17 assists … in his senior season, started 18 of the 21 games in which he played, scoring five goals and adding six assist… earned second-team NSCAA All-South Region honors and second-team all-conference honors … also helped Elon win the 2012 Southern Conference Tournament and picked up most outstanding player honors for the tournament … appeared in all 22 matches, starting 20, as a junior when he scored four goals and added seven assists … started 17 of his 19 appearances as a sophomore, scoring six goals and adding two assists … appeared in all 20 of Elon’s game – including five starts – in his freshman season, scoring two goals … also spent time with NASL club Carolina Railhakws U-23 (2011) while in college.
