HOW ACQUIRED: Acquired via trade with New York City FC along with regular allocation money in exchange for Jack Harrison during the 2016 MLS SuperDraft on January 14, 2016.
Vincent burst onto the scene in January 2016, leaving the MLS Combine for USMNT camp after receiving a surprise call-up before being taken No. 4 overall in the SuperDraft by New York City FC and immediately getting sent to Chicago for No. 1 overall selection Jack Harrison. A steady, consistent left back with an excellent cross, Vincent was dubbed by many to be the most MLS-ready player in his draft class and took the starting job right away.
INTERNATIONAL: A late addition to Jurgen Klinsmann’s 2016 US national team January camp roster, Vincent earned his first USMNT on February 5, 2016, when he came on for the second half of the team’s 1-0 win over Canada.
COLLEGE: Scored 13 goals and added three assists in 80 career games at Stanford, receiving NSCAA first-team All-American and Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year honors as a junior and senior and co-captaining the Cardinal to their first national title as a senior.
NOTES: No. 4 pick in 2016 SuperDraft.
