Career Summary

COACHES' BREAKDOWN: "Very athletic, good in the air, good pace. Prototypical CB. Very good in the air on either end. Good 1-v-1 defender because of his pace. Pretty solid feet for what he is. He fits the MLS mold. Can use both feet to play the ball out. Just needs minutes at the pro level. Played forward when he was younger, didn't move to CB until college - still learning a little. Has some upside.... He's a solid college centebrack. And there's not a ton more to say. In that team he was essentially asked to defend and break stuff up and take out the other team's strongest attacking player. Wouldn't call him a modern centerback and that's where he'd need to grow his game to make it. He'd need to do more than he did in college and play a great role, take care of spacing, etc. ... US kid, good size, smart player, pretty good athlete ... Someone may take a risk on him like a Chris Schuler ... He could do it potentially in the right environment. He can only be a right centerback but if someone is looking for a cheap squad player ... Tough to beat individually defensively ... He was the dominant presence in attacking and defending restarts ... Good in the air and not just because of weaker competition ... More than a good college centerback. ... Had he gotten to the Combine he might've turned some heads ... Wisconsin kid ... Comparison to Schuler is a big stretch because he doesn't have the athleticism ... His presence verbally and he's an English centerback and comes in with Braveheart attitude. Confident college back that's going to finish at that level."
