Career Summary

Retired following the 2016 season.

If every locker room needs a glue guy capable of keeping the team tethered together in the heat of its toughest moments, then every team needs somebody like Jack Jewsbury. After struggling for playing time in his rookie year, Jewsbury became a key in the midfield before switching to a defensive role as a fullback later in his career with the Timbers. Jewsbury’s versatility and willingness to form fit his game to his team’s needs made him one of the most important keys to Portland’s 2015 title run.

INTERNATIONAL: Although never appearing in a game, Jewsbury has two U.S. senior national team camps under his belt, both in the run-up to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

COLLEGE: Jewsbury was a key figure for college powerhouse St. Louis during his years there. He finished his college career with the Billikens 10th on its all-time points list with 101.
