Former men's national team coach Bruce Arena wil ljoin the Wizards' broadcast team in 2008.

The Kansas City Wizards announced today the remaining schedule of analysts to broadcast Wizards games on Metro Sports alongside voice of the Wizards Sean Wheelock. Bruce Arena, former U.S. Men's National Team, D.C. United and Red Bull New York head coach, and Bob Gansler, former U.S. Men's National Team and Kansas City Wizards head coach, will serve as analysts for remaining games. Former U.S. National Team member and MLS player Eric Wynalda will also serve as analyst for one match. Kansas City is pleased add these knowledgeable soccer minds to a broadcast lineup that is already one of the most extensive in Major League Soccer.

"We are very serious about making our broadcast the best in MLS, and by bringing in arguably the two top coaches in the history of American Soccer, it is yet another step in that direction," Wizards Vice President of Communications Rob Thomson said. "The insight and tactical breakdowns that both Coach Arena and Coach Gansler will provide will be unmatched. We are very proud to have them as part of the team and to build upon what we are doing in Kansas City. We now have our games broadcast in both English and Spanish radio and television, and have a weekly English and Spanish TV and radio show, which is unprecedented."

Since OnGoal, LLC bought the Wizards in August 2006, broadcast quality has been one of the organization's highest priorities. Since OnGoal's takeover, every MLS match involving the Wizards has been available on television. The Wizards are one of the first teams to have Television and radio broadcasts in both English and Spanish.
