BUDDLE OPENS 2005 SEASON WITH A BANG, WHILE RAZOV MAKES A SUCCESFUL CREW DEBUT

Forward Edson Buddle had a hand in all three goals in The Crew's 3-0 season opening win over Los Angeles on Saturday at Crew Stadium. He tallied the games first two goals and then caused the loose ball that resulted in new strike partner Ante Razov's goal, the third of the game. Razov also assisted on Buddle's second goal in his first game with The Crew after an off-season trade with Chicago. It was Buddle's 34th and 35th career goals and his seventh career multi-goal game. It was also his ninth career game-winning goal. Buddle picked up right were he left off last year after finishing tied for third in MLS for goals with 11.
