After earning a point in back-to-back road games at Sporting Kansas City and the New York Red Bulls, the Vancouver Whitecaps return to BC Place to host FC Dallas Saturday.

Due to delays, the Whitecaps (3-6-5) didn't arrive in New Jersey until 3 am, a mere 17 hours before kickoff, but they absorbed early pressure and consistently hit the Red Bulls on counters in a 2-2 draw at Red Bull Arena Wednesday night. Scott Sutter capitalized on a defensive miscue to give Vancouver a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute and a penalty kick by Fredy Montero after Video Review picked out a hand ball against Red Bulls defender Sean Nealis, leveled the score at 2 in the 61st minute.

FC Dallas (5-5-3) bounced back from a 2-0 loss at Banc of California Stadium to draw LAFC 1-1 at Toyota Stadium Saturday. Ryan Hollingshead put the hosts in front before Carlos Vela, who was earlier denied from the penalty spot Jesse Gonzalez after Matt Hedges was sent off for DOGSO, made the most of a second chance to level 10 minutes from full time.
