Transfer Watch: Could all-time World Cup scoring leader Miroslav Klose join MLS?

Miroslav Klose breaks World Cup record

Didier Drogba showed that 37-year-old forwards can still succeed in MLS. Could Miroslav Klose be the next to make the leap across the Atlantic?

Reports out of Italy indicate that could be the case, as Klose, currently playing for Lazio in Serie A, was linked to the LA Galaxy, New York Red Bulls and Chicago Fire, according to an article on LaLazioSiamoNoi.it on Wednesday.

Klose, a World Cup winner with Germany who is the all-time World Cup scoring leader, has been with Lazio since 2011 and an injury has limited him so far this season. He previously spent his club career in Germany, playing for the likes of Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen and Kaiserslautern, among other clubs.
