Transfer Watch: Samir Nasri says he'd like to play in MLS after Manchester City

Yet another big name was linked with a move to MLS on Tuesday — and this rumor appears to have more than a bit of credence.

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri recently told French TV station Canal+ Sport that he’d like to play in North America after he finishes with Man City. The 28-year-old former French international is under contract with New York City FC's sister club until the summer of 2019.

“I like the English league a lot and my life in England,” he said.

“Afterwards, I’m thinking more about playing in MLS — to discover something different — rather than going back to France.”

Nasri, who has one goal in six Premier League appearances this season, has previously stated he'd one day like to join MLS, making similar comments in June and in March
