The Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper continued his impressive record defending against penalty kicks on Sunday afternoon, denying the Philadelphia Union's star offseason signing his second goal in as many games with this save:

Melia's latest save puts him among elite company in terms of MLS penalty stoppers (including Zack Steffen, who added to his resume on Saturday), and proved to be a critical moment in the game, preserving Sporting's 1-0 lead over the Union just minutes before the halftime whistle.
