TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing

Sporting Kansas City have signed midfielder Cameron Duke to a Homegrown deal, the club announced Thursday.

Duke, 18, becomes the 11th Homegrown signing in club history. He joined the Sporting Kansas City Academy in 2012 and has represented United States youth national teams at the U-14, U-15, U-16 and U-18 levels.

"Cam is someone I have known his entire life, and he has been in our system for several years," SKC manager and technical director Peter Vermes said in a club statement. "He has worked very hard to reach this goal, and we are glad to see that he has become a part of the Sporting Kansas City first team. He still has a lot left to accomplish, much like all the young players who transition from our Academy into the MLS roster. This is the next step in trying to make his professional dreams possible."

Duke's older brother, Christian, started his career with SKC though never made his MLS debut.
