Corey Baird was left out of Real Salt Lake's matchday squad for Sunday's game at Minnesota United after he missed the team's flight. The news was first reported by Alex Vejar of The Salt Lake Tribune.

Baird, 24, has been a standout performer for RSL in 2020, scoring two goals and adding four assists in 13 appearances. Without him in the lineup, Freddy Juarez's team came away with a goalless draw against their Western Conference rivals.

RSL went into Sunday's game just above the playoff line in the Western Conference. They will next be in action back at home against LAFC on Oct. 4 (9:30 pm ET | TV & streaming)
