What has been your oddest job?
Being an extra in the movie Guess Who; I told all my friends to see it, thinking I was going to get a nice face shot, but I got cut out, and all you can see is one leg of mine.


When did you know that you wanted to pursue soccer professionally?
Since I was a little kid, I always wanted to be a professional athlete, and soccer was my best chance, so early on I knew i wanted to pursue a soccer career.


Tell me about your first pair of cleats. What color were they? What brand? How long did you keep them?
The black and neon green Lottos. They were pretty sweet.


What is your favorite kind of music?
I listen to a whole range of music, but I would have to say rap.


Who is your favorite singer/band and why?
Dr. Dre


What has been the best concert you have ever attended?
Green day, because we got in for free by sneaking through the back gate and they rocked the house.


What are you most proud of at this point in your life?
Finishing school, because it took a long time, a really long time.


What person do you admire the most and why?
Michael Jordan; he is the man, played every game like it was his last, and turn average players into all-stars.

What do you recommend to aspiring soccer players in Houston?
Continue to work hard and to push yourself, I never had the speed or ability from the start, but if you work hard enough you can do whatever you want.


Who do you see as Houston's biggest rival?
Galaxy


Who is your favorite soccer team? In the MLS? In Europe? In the world?
Houston, Barca.


What is your degree?
It's called American studies, its legit, it might not sound hard but it was, I promise.


During your college career, what has been your favorite class?
American Economic History


What is the best thing about your university?
We have a great campus life, good football and basketball, and a lot of chill people.


Most kids grow up watching their favorite sport and begin to dream of being like their favorite athlete. Who was your inspiration?
Michael Jordan, the guy was so sick.


Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In Houston, as defending MLS champs


Do you have any nicknames?
Eazy E. By the way, that was in high school.


What is your favorite movie and why?
Wedding Crashers, instant classic.


Who's your favorite superhero?
The one that is invisible, if that's really one. If not it should be because that is pretty tight.
