There's no pulling any punches when it comes to rivalry games, and that goes for the fans as well as the players on the field. Just check out these distraction tactics from a Portland Timbers fan in the first half of their Cascadia clash with the Seattle Sounders:
It starts out with a funny little shimmy, but as the Sounders' Andreas Ivanschitz finally gets set to take the corner, this intrepid fan goes the extra mile to try and distract the Austrian playmaker by pulling up his shirt.
The move doesn't quite seem to work on Ivanschitz, who plays the consumate pro and swings in the corner as he has many times before. But it does beg the question, what would you do to distract an opposing player in that situation? Let us know in the comments below!
