POLL: Should the US hire an American or foreign coach?

US manager Bob Bradley looks on with Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey after the US lose to Mexico

Should US Soccer hire an American or foreign coach to replace Bradley?

So, here we are again: The US national team is seeking a new head coach after Bob Bradley was fired on Thursday following a little more than a World Cup cycle at the helm.

Five years ago, Bruce Arena was relieved of his national team duties after the United States' disappointing outing in Germany. At the time, many pundits predicted US Soccer would spring for a foreign coach, and former Germany boss Jürgen Klinsmann was considered a front-runner. However, Bradley was named to the position, a move that surprised many. In fact, the US has not had a foreign coach since Bora Milutinović took charge in 1991.

What's next? Does the US Soccer Federation begin seeking abroad for a new coach, or stay closer to home? Does Sunil Gulati seek out a brand-name European talent, or set his sights on, perhaps, one of MLS' top bosses? What would you do if you were in charge? Who would you like to see as head coach?
