Orlando City expand youth soccer commitment with launch of new network

Orlando City SC huddle before MLS is Back Tournament opener

Orlando City announced Tuesday that the club is launching a Youth Soccer Network, expanding the club's pool of talented young players in the Orlando area.

Organizations that join the OCYSN will have access to the club's "technical curriculum and methodology" and other practices from the academy, and players in the program may be seen by Orlando's scouts and technical staff. Members of the OCYSN will also have access to game day and front office experiences at Orlando City.

"We have always taken pride in being deeply entwined and committed to youth soccer development in our community, and the Orlando City Youth Soccer Network represents yet another way we will provide innovative and exclusive opportunities to get even closer to our Club," Orlando CEO Alex Leitao said in a club statement. "Investing in the growth of the game at youth level will only benefit the future of our game, both here in Orlando and around the world."

Orlando will also host camps, clinics, and tournaments for members of the OCYSN, which will be part of Orlando City's newly launched After School Program and Affiliate Programs.
