Ola Kamara starts in Norway's friendly loss at Macedonia

Ola Kamara - Columbus Crew SC - celebrates a goal in front of the camera

Ola Kamara got the start, but Norway couldn’t get the result in the Columbus Crew SC striker’s return to international action.

Kamara went 79 minutes in Norway’s 2-0 friendly loss at Macedonia on Friday, his first appearance with the Norwegian national team since September 2014. Kamara and Norway will have a shot to end his international trip on a positive note on Tuesday, when they’ll take on Real Salt Lake’s Albert Rusnak and Slovakia in another friendly.

Kamara will return to Columbus following the Slovakia match to begin prep for the first leg of Crew SC's Eastern Conference Championship series against Toronto FC on Nov. 21 at MAPFRE Stadium.
