New York Red Bulls to ring the closing bell at the NASDAQ stock market on Wednesday, April 4

SECAUCUS, N.J. - The New York Red Bulls coaches, players and front office staff will preside over the closing bell ceremony at the NASDAQ Stock Market at 4:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, April 4 to kickoff their 2007 Major League Soccer season. Managing Director Marc de Grandpre, Sporting Director and Head Coach Bruce Arena and players including Jozy Altidore, Seth Stammler, Todd Dunivant, Taylor Graham, John Wolyniec, Carlos Mendes, Dema Kovalenko, Sinisa Ubiparipovic, Marvell Wynne, Sal Caccavale and Tim Regan are expected to help close Wednesday's day of trading at NASDAQ's Times Square broadcast studio.


Last year, the Red Bulls rang the Opening Bell at the NASDAQ on August 17.


The ceremony will be broadcast live on the NASDAQ'S famous seven-story electronic tower in Times Square, a digital display that wraps around the cylindrical NASDAQ building, providing up-to-minute financial news, market highlights and advertisements. There will also be a live webcast of the ceremony on NASDAQ's website and on channels such as CNBC and Bloomberg television.
