More than 3,000 attend Galaxy's second annual Fan Fest

CARSON, Calif. - A crowd of more than 3,000 came out to The Home Depot Center on the campus of California State University at Dominguez Hills on Sunday to celebrate the Los Angeles Galaxy's second annual Fan Fest. The event, which served as the official unveiling of the 2007 Galaxy squad, gave fans the chance to meet and cheer on their favorite players before the start of the 2007 MLS season.

"The second annual Galaxy Fan Fest was an amazing event with which to unveil our team," said Galaxy Assistant General Manager Tom Payne. "Today was a success thanks to our fans, who are always there for us and this was no different. Everyone was able to leave The Home Depot Center happy, knowing that this is just the start of what will be an incredible season for the Galaxy."

The day was highlighted by an autograph session that allowed fans to get up close and personal with each of the Galaxy players and coaches. Fans were able to watch the club practice on the stadium field, were also given tours of the L.A. locker room and were treated to a series of interactive games and exhibits. Additionally, Galaxy President and General Manager Alexi Lalas delivered a "State of the Galaxy" address to season ticket holders.
