Evan Bush - Montreal Impact - taking the field - preseason

The Montreal Impact defeated Nashville SC 2-0 on Wednesday in action in Preseason presented by Advocare in Bradenton, Fla.

Both goals were scored late in the second half, as Zakaria Diallo, out all of the 2018 season due to injury, opened the scoring in the 71st minute, before newcomer Harry Novillo scored from a half-volley nine minutes later.

Nashville, playing in the USL Championship this season, will become an MLS expansion team in 2020. Neither of their signings for the MLS side, Daniel Rios and Cameron Lancaster, played in Wednesday's match.
