Morris scores as Sounders rout UCLA

The rumors are swirling around start striker Obafemi Martins, but that didn't stop the Sounders from putting the hurt on UCLA on Sunday, with Seattle topping the Bruins 5-1 in a friendly in Walnut, California. US national team forward Jordan Morris scored his first goal since signing for Seattle in January, and fellow Homegrown forward Darwin Jones added a pair to bring his preseason tally to four. 

Andreas Ivanschitz and Homegrown attacker Aaron Kovar scored the other two goals for Seattle, who played in a 4-3-3 and used 29 players in the three-period, 105-minute match.

RSL top South Korean foes

Forward Yura Movsisyan tallied the day's only goal in Real Salt Lake's 1-0 win over their South Korean opponents, who finished fifth in the most recent K-League season. Movsisyan, a recently signed Designated Player, converted a slip pass from Juan Manuel Martinez after a clever dummy from Joao Plata.

RSL, who played in a 4-3-3, are now 2-2-0 in their four preseason matches. Each game has ended 1-0.
