adidas x MLS Archive Collection - 1

NEW YORK (August 13, 2026) – Major League Soccer (MLS) and adidas today unveiled the third iteration of the iconic adidas x MLS Archive Collection which celebrates the nostalgia, pride, and passion of eight soccer cities that connect both past and present while honoring each club’s history, culture and identity.

The eight teams featured in this year’s launch – Austin FC, CF Montréal, Chicago Fire FC, Houston Dynamo FC, Orlando City SC, Philadelphia Union, Real Salt Lake and Vancouver Whitecaps FC – join 15 teams to have been previously featured in the collection, which first launched in 2024. Each team in this year’s collection will receive new third kits as well as a matching jacket, both of which will be available for purchase starting today on adidas.com and MLSstore.com.

“The adidas x MLS Archive Collection celebrates the stories, identities and moments that make our clubs and their communities unique,” said Rachel Hoagland, MLS Senior Vice President of Consumer Products. “Through these third jerseys, we’re bringing that history together with the culture and pride of eight cities, giving fans a fresh way to represent their clubs while celebrating where they’ve come from.”

The 2026 iteration features some of the most iconic clubs, stories and designs from around the league, from Houston’s Astrodome to the 1994 FIFA World Cup Official Match Ball to the rugged mountains of the West. Each kit will be debuted on-pitch throughout the remainder of the 2026 season.

"The final Archive drop is a nod to the roots of MLS culture, giving fans kits that feel nostalgic while capturing the true spirit of the eight cities that have played an important part to cultivate the fandom around soccer culture,” said Griffin Claes, Senior Designer, Club and MLS at adidas. “We didn’t design these to just be third jerseys, they are pieces for fans to rep the authentic energy, landmarks and pride of their home cities whether they’re in the stands or out in their communities.”

All items from the adidas x MLS Archive Collection are now available at MLSstore.com as well as various MLS and club retail locations.

The kit brings together the Lions’ 1980s wordmark—a nod to Orlando’s original soccer team—with the space-age design of the 1994 World Cup’s iconic Questra match ball. Woven throughout is legendary red, the same colorway Orlando City wore when it lifted the Club’s first USL trophy in 2011.

Philadelphia Union

The nostalgic colours bring back a bold blue and vibrant yellow, with red accents. On the chest is the iconic Vancouver ribbon from the original 86ers crest. The chest mark merges in the beauty of British Columbia, featuring the official flower of the province – the pacific dogwood.
