CARSON, Calif. - Amidst flashbulbs and drumbeats, Chivas USA's Legión 1908 fan club will make a special red-carpet entrance to The Home Depot Center prior to Thursday night's highly anticipated Honda Super Clásico match between Chivas USA and the LA Galaxy.
Members of Los Angeles' most colorful and passionate soccer fan club will assemble along the red carpet starting at 6:00 p.m. PT and will process through The Home Depot Center's new VIP entrance starting at 6:15 p.m., prior to the game's 8:00 p.m. PT kickoff.
Tomorrow night, Chivas USA and the LA Galaxy face off in the highly anticipated fourth and final match of the 2007 Honda Super Clásico series - the United States' only pro soccer 'derby', or intra-city rivalry - at The Home Depot Center.
Thursday's match will decide the winner of the 2007 series. Chivas USA, currently second in the Western Conference, will claim its first Honda Super Clásico trophy with a win or a tie, while the Galaxy, currently in last place in the West, will need a win to maintain its hegemony in the three-year-old series.
