TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Re-signed

LAFC have re-signed defender Jordan Harvey to a new contract, the club announced Wednesday.

Harvey, who turns 37 this week, made 11 appearances (eight starts) for LAFC in 2020. He is a 15-year MLS veteran, making 340 career regular-season appearances thus far over stints with LAFC, Vancouver, Philadelphia and Colorado. He won the 2019 Supporters' Shield with LAFC.

"Jordan has been an integral part of our Club since joining us ahead of our inaugural campaign in 2018,” LAFC Co-President & GM John Thorrington said in a club statement. “Not only has he brought a wealth of experience and leadership to the locker room, but he has also served as a fantastic ambassador in our community.”

Harvey was a member of the inaugural LAFC squad. He currently ranks 15th all-time in MLS minutes played.

So far this offseason LAFC have acquired US international Corey Baird and South Korean international Kim Moon-Hwan, while trading for Marco Farfan and re-acquiring Jesus Murillo on a permanent transfer after his loan expired.
