The LA Galaxy will be without defender Ashley Cole for Friday’s game against the Houston Dynamo (11 pm ET; UniMás in the US, MLS LIVE in Canada), according to head coach Bruce Arena.
The 35-year-old suffered a hamstring injury last week that kept him out of LA’s 1-0 win at Seattle on Saturday. According to a report from LAGalaxy.com’s Adam Serrano on Wednesday, he hasn’t participated in on-field training this week.
Arena said on Sunday that he thought Cole would miss one more game before being able to return. Dave Romney started in place of Cole on Saturday at Seattle.
Cole has appeared in 13 regular season games, all starts, for the Galaxy this year.
