In search of their first win of 2019, New York City FC will likely be without influential No. 10 Maxi Moralez again this weekend, head coach Dome Torrent told reporters on Wednesday. But reinforcements are here.

New signing Heber is available for selection for the first time, while Torrent is deciding if he is fit enough to make the starting XI. Torrent also added that he may hand US national team midfielder Keaton Parks his first MLS start since joining the club this winter.

Moralez, 32, had eight goals and 16 assists last season. The Designated Player has an assist in three matches to start 2019.

Parks, 21, joined the club on loan from Benfica, where he made six appearances across all competitions for Benfica's first team. He also had seven goals and seven assists in more than 40 appearances for their reserve side, Benfica B, in the Portuguese second division.

Heber, 27, had 27 goals and 13 assists in 52 appearances for Croatian side HNK Rijeka before heading to New York.

NYCFC welcome the Montreal Impact to the Bronx on Saturday (1 pm ET | MLS LIVE on ESPN+ in US, TVAS in Canada), who also have injury concerns. Star winger Nacho Piatti is unavailable with a knee injury.
